This guide explains what happens after you place an order, how payment works, and what you should do to complete the exchange smoothly.

The most important thing to remember is that you must stay in touch with the seller and confirm the exchange once you have received the item.

How It Works

Browse and Commit to Buy

Find the perfect uniform on our product listing page and click the buy button to commit to your purchase.

Add Payment Information

Add your payment details securely at checkout. We pre-authorise your card first, then only capture payment later if the order is still active and unresolved.

Choose Exchange Method

Select your preferred exchange method during checkout - either an in-person meetup or use the school's designated drop-off point. You'll coordinate the specific details with the seller after committing to purchase.

Complete the Exchange

For drop-off, use the exchange code from your email. For in-person, meet at the agreed location. Once you have the item, confirm the exchange on the platform.

Exchange Options

In-Person Exchange

Best when you want to inspect the item before the order is completed.

  • Check the uniform face to face before confirming
  • Arrange the handover directly with the seller
  • Confirm the exchange as soon as you receive the item
  • Usually the lowest-risk option for both sides

Drop-Off Exchange

Useful when meeting in person is difficult, but you still need to confirm collection promptly.

  • Works well for busy schedules
  • Uses your school's drop-off process and exchange code
  • Lets the buyer collect later
  • Needs clear communication so the order does not stall

Payment and Confirmation Timeline

We pre-authorise your payment when you check out. If the exchange is still unresolved, we send you a reminder before capture. If you do not cancel or confirm within 5 days, we capture the payment and hold it while the exchange is completed. If there is still no update 10 days after capture, the order may auto-complete.

To avoid problems, message the seller early, keep the exchange moving, and confirm the order as soon as you receive the item.

  • Follow the link from the order confirmation email
  • Go to My Account → My Orders and click the exchange button
  • Use the exchange button in the messages page when communicating with the seller

If the Seller Is Quiet

Message Early

Send a message soon after ordering so you can agree the handover details before any payment deadlines come into play.

Cancel Before Capture If Needed

If the seller is unresponsive and the exchange is not moving forward, cancel the order during the first 5 days before payment is captured.

Ask for Help After Capture

If payment has already been captured and the exchange is still unresolved, contact support so the order can be reviewed.
